Notice of Intent to Reopen for In-Person Instruction

Pursuant to the Blueprint for a Safer Economy issued by the Governor's office on August 28, 2020, and other applicable authority, schools within a county are permitted to reopen for in-person instruction 14 days after the state transitions the county from Tier 1 to Tier 2.
On behalf of South Fork Union School District, this document shall serve as official notice of District's intention to begin the process of reopening its public school in a phased manner on October 28, 2020. District will implement the reopening of its schools pursuant to its Reopening Schools Plan prepared by District in consultation with current health and safety guidance from the California Department of Public Health. District's current updated Reopening Schools Plan has been posted to its website. The schedule for reopening each school within District will be maintained on District's website.
